About me: a rambling...
I'm honest and loyal to a fault. If you don’t want to hear it like it is, don't ask me. I like to keep everything in perspective and not sweat the small things. Since adopting the motto "Fuck it" - life has been less stressful and my anxiety has disappeared. Everything works out and almost always for the best...no doubts about that. I believe in Karma, past lives and consequences. Weigh it out and decide for better or worse. I hate when people don’t take responsibility for their own actions. Sincerity is key to all relationships.
I’m entirely too stubborn and hate being told what to do, even if it’s for my own good. I have a knack for reading people and sensing their feelings, but it only works if I truly care. I never hold grudges and am quick to recover from almost anything. Life is too short and 90% of the time, it's just not worth it. Always look at the "big picture" it really minimizes daily frustrations.
I can sit for hours with a good book and be completely content with life. I love lying on the couch, eating pizza, watching movies and most importantly, going to Saturday morning garage sales with my mom and sister.
I’m absolutely ecstatic when in the mountains. Nature makes me feel at peace, like nothing else matters while surrounded by such beauty.
My ideal life in a nutshell would be: have a big family, live in an old Victorian home that has a wrap-a-round porch with a small farm/garden and lots of land. Of course, I’m a city girl, so I'd need people to tend such things. :) I’m more than happy to direct though.
People think I'm crazy because I seem to love animals more than humans lol. I have 4 dogs, 15 cats, a koi pond and 2 fish tanks.
My family is abnormally close (by Miami standards). We have "Friday Night Family Dinners" every week and I cherish those moments with all my heart. Fortunately, I’ve been blessed with more than words can express. I feel secure in life because no matter what, I will always be surrounded by love. That guarantee keeps all negativity at a distance. I may see it and feel it, but it will never penetrate the strength I receive from my loved ones.
I have a Bachelors in Psychology and am working on another in Nursing. My original plan was to get a Masters in Mental Health, but that all changed during and after caring for my ailing grandmother. Her life and illness showed me how important it is to have a care-taker help you physically and mentally. That experience will make me the best nurse I can be.
I’m 27 and have been with my boyfriend since I was 20…7 years and counting. We aren’t married because I have standards that I refuse to give up on. So, the plan is..finish school, establish financial stability, live in a home and get married on our 10 year anniversary. Not only will we be celebrating 10 years of commitment, but solidifying our love with a life-long promise.
